One of the most critical parts of the overall landscape plan is the fall clean-up. Many people assume that “we need to clean the yard in the spring anyways”, and the fall clean-up is often overlooked. Or, someone may have the clean-up of leaves planned but before you know it…. BAM!!… the first significant snowfall hits and we are dead in the water.
Unfortunately, not doing the fall clean-up of leaves is a killer to the lawn. The wet leaves mat down on the grass under the snow for up to four months. This is not good for the lawn and makes the spring clean that much more difficult.
Generally speaking, the window for the fall clean-up is small. Most of the leaves are completly off the trees by November 1st, and of course the first snowfall is only a short time away. Book early and please watch the weather !!
Our plan for the fall clean-up is simple: rake, blow and mow. We will remove the leaves from accessible flower and shrub beds, the lawn, driveways and walks. Your yard will look great when we are done!
